Our History
Wings was formed as a not-for-profit organization on August 16, 2001 with a mission to help Women In Need of Guidance and Support.
In 2013, Wings was awarded status as a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization.
Now celebrating over 24 years of service to women and children in under-served communities in Montgomery, Prince George's Counties in MD, Washington DC, Alabama and Louisiana - we've even touched families in Haiti.

Our Vision
Our organization orchestrates eight to ten annual campaigns to empower women and children in under-served communities residing in Washington D.C. and in Maryland's Prince George's and Montgomery Counties.
Our Team
Wings For Joy, Inc. is led by a volunteer board of directors.
All of our campaigns are supported by individual and corporate contributions and members who what to do more for their community.
